What is a backlink?
A backlink is a link pointing from a website A to a website B.
In order for a backlink to be a good one, it must meet some requirements:
- The backling must spread traffic so it cannot have the nofollow attribute
- It must be published on a web page indexed by the search engines
- Ideally, it should directly point to the URL of the targeted page without going through a non-permanent redirection page (redirections 302, 307, 308…)
